Platform Terms

Last updated: September 30, 2026

These Platform Terms are set by AshWeb Inc., the platform operating this app, and apply in addition to this app's own Terms of Service. They cannot be modified by the app owner. Where they conflict with the app's own terms, these Platform Terms prevail for the matters they cover.

1. What these terms cover

This app runs on the AshWeb platform. AshWeb provides the infrastructure, AI generation, payment processing, and the cross-app character marketplace described below. These terms govern (a) AI-generated content, (b) publishing a character you created for use in other apps on the platform, (c) the revenue share you earn when it is used there, and (d) brand deals between businesses and creators (§10).

2. AI-generated content

Characters and their content in this app are generated by artificial intelligence. AI output may be inaccurate or fictional and does not depict real people or real events unless explicitly stated.

3. Your characters and your license to us

You keep ownership of the characters you create. A character is private until you turn on sharing for it ("Share to other apps & earn" — "opt in"): before that, no other user sees it or can chat with it. When you opt in, you grant AshWeb a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and operate that character for other users — in this app and in other apps on the platform — solely to provide that sharing. The license lasts while the opt-in is active and, after you turn it off, for the conversations that had already started with the character (§7); it ends when you delete the character.

4. Your promises about published characters

By opting in you confirm that: (a) you have all rights needed to publish the character; (b) it does not imitate a real person's name, likeness, or voice without their permission; (c) it does not depict a real child (anyone under 18) — by name, photo, or likeness; (d) it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, or other rights; and (e) you are at least 18 years old. Characters that break these promises can be removed at any time (see §8).

5. Revenue share

When someone uses your published character in another app with paid usage, you earn a share of what was paid for that usage, after payment-processing fees. The share and the value basis in force when an app adds your character are recorded for that activation — later changes to platform rates never apply retroactively to an existing activation. Usage that comes from free usage does not generate earnings.

6. Payouts

Earnings accumulate in your creator balance, shown under Marketplace earnings in your character's settings. Earnings are paid out by Stripe to creators who have set up a payout account, as described in §10(f). Stripe handles identity verification, banking details, and applicable tax reporting. You are responsible for taxes on your earnings. If your country is not supported by Stripe payouts, earnings remain in your balance until a supported payout method is available.

7. Turning sharing off, and deletion

You can turn off cross-app sharing at any time. Turning it off blocks new apps from adding your character; apps that already added it may keep serving existing conversations, and you keep earning from that usage. Deleting the character ends its use everywhere.

8. Removal and reports

AshWeb may remove a published character at any time if it violates §4, applicable law, or platform content rules. To report a character that uses your name, photo, or likeness without your permission, depicts a real child, or otherwise infringes your rights, use the Report button in the app, or contact the platform at the address below; verified reports are taken down.

9. Privacy across apps

When your character is used in another app, you see aggregate statistics and earnings only. You never see the conversations or the identity of that app's users. Conversely, that app's users see your character's public profile, not your personal account details.

10. Brand deals (sponsored posts)

Some apps on the platform let a business ("brand") post a paid campaign and let creators apply to make a sponsored post for it. These rules apply to every brand deal.

(a) Fee. The brand sets a fixed fee in US dollars per creator. Before applying, a creator sees an estimate of what they will receive.

(b) When the brand pays. When the brand accepts a creator, the full fee is charged to the brand's saved card and held by AshWeb, which is the merchant of record for the deal. The creator is not paid at this point.

(c) Delivery and approval. The creator makes the sponsored post described in the campaign brief in the app, under the deal. Once the post is finished, the deal counts as delivered and the brand is notified. The brand then approves it, which releases the held fee; a deal cannot be approved before its post exists. If the brand neither approves nor cancels within 14 days after delivery, the fee is released automatically. If the post is deleted before then, the deal goes back to waiting for a post.

(d) Cancellation. Before approval, the brand may cancel the deal — for example, if the creator does not deliver — and the full held fee is refunded to the brand's card. After the fee is released it cannot be refunded through the app.

(e) Split. On release, a fixed payment-processing deduction of 5.1% of the fee plus US$0.30 is taken first. The rest is divided 70% to the creator, 20% to the app's operator and 10% to AshWeb; where AshWeb operates the app, AshWeb receives both the operator and platform shares. The split in force when the brand accepted the creator applies to that deal; later changes do not. Example: on a US$100 fee the creator receives US$66.22.

(f) Payouts. Released earnings are sent by Stripe to the creator's payout account in a daily run once the unpaid balance is at least US$10, the payout account is verified, and a valid W-9 or W-8 tax form is on file; until then they stay in the creator's balance. For creators who provide a W-8, US tax is withheld at the rate on the form and reported to the IRS.

(g) Disclosure. Posts made under a brand deal are labeled as advertising (for example "#ad"), and the creator must not remove the label.

(h) Reversed payments and abuse. If a brand's payment is reversed after the fee was released, AshWeb bears the loss and does not reclaim money already paid to the creator, except in cases of fraud or collusion, where AshWeb may withhold the creator's unpaid earnings.

(i) Same person on both sides. If the brand and the creator are the same person, nothing is charged or paid.

11. Platform role, and who is responsible for this app

This app is operated by its owner, not by AshWeb. Any purchase you make in this app is a contract between you and the app owner — AshWeb is not a party to it and is not the seller. The app owner sets and is responsible for this app's own terms, prices, refunds, and content, and is the controller of the personal data processed inside the app; AshWeb acts as a processor providing hosting, AI, and payment infrastructure, and the merchant of record is AshWeb or the app owner as shown at checkout.

The owner's own terms cannot reduce your rights below applicable law, and cannot override these Platform Terms — where they conflict, these Platform Terms prevail. AshWeb requires every app on the platform to follow its Acceptable Use Policy and may suspend or remove an app (in whole or in part) that violates it or the law.

12. Sanctioned regions

You may not use the Service if you are located in, or ordinarily resident in, a country or region subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions.

13. Changes

AshWeb may update these Platform Terms. Material changes are announced in-app, and continued use of cross-app sharing after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Rates already frozen into an activation are not affected (§5).
